Stative verbs: ćwiczenia z odpowiedziami i karta pracy PDF

Know, understand, believe, like, love, hate, want, need, prefer, own, belong i seem opisują stan. Nawet jeśli chodzi o tę chwilę, mówisz I know, a nie I am knowing.

  • I don’t understand this email. (Nie rozumiem tego maila.)
  • She wants a new job. (Ona chce nowej pracy.)
  • This car belongs to my dad. (Ten samochód należy do mojego taty.)

Think: opinia albo myślenie

Kiedy think znaczy „uważam”, zostaje w formie prostej. Kiedy mówisz o myśleniu, które trwa w Twojej głowie, możesz użyć -ing.

  • I think it’s a good idea. (Uważam, że to dobry pomysł.)
  • I’m thinking about changing jobs. (Myślę o zmianie pracy.)

Have: posiadanie albo czynność

Have w znaczeniu „mieć” to stan, więc bez -ing. W wyrażeniach typu have lunch, have a shower czy have a good time to czynność i -ing jest w porządku.

  • We have two kids. (Mamy dwoje dzieci.)
  • We’re having lunch right now. (Właśnie jemy lunch.)
  • Are you having a good time? (Dobrze się bawisz?)

See, taste, smell: zmysły albo działanie

  • I see what you mean. (Rozumiem, co masz na myśli.)
  • She’s seeing someone from work. (Spotyka się z kimś z pracy.)
  • This soup tastes great. (Ta zupa świetnie smakuje.)
