Both, either i neither przydają się, kiedy wybierasz z dwóch rzeczy: dwóch terminów, dwóch hoteli, dwóch ofert. All, none, each i every działają przy większej grupie.

All, both, either i neither w skrócie
Both, either, neither: kiedy są dwie rzeczy
Both znaczy „oba, obie, oboje”. Either to „jeden albo drugi, obojętnie który”. Neither to „ani jeden, ani drugi”. Po of stawiasz the, my, these albo zaimek: both of my parents, neither of us.
- Both of my sisters live in Chicago. (Obie moje siostry mieszkają w Chicago.)
- You can sit at either table. (Możesz usiąść przy którymkolwiek stoliku.)
- Neither of us wanted to cook. (Żadne z nas nie chciało gotować.)
All i none: trzy i więcej
- All of my friends were at the wedding. (Wszyscy moi znajomi byli na weselu.)
- None of my coworkers drive to work. (Nikt z moich współpracowników nie jeździ do pracy autem.)
Both…and, either…or, neither…nor
Te pary łączą dwie części zdania. Both idzie z and, either z or, neither z nor. Nie mieszaj ich ze sobą.
- The hotel was both cheap and clean. (Hotel był i tani, i czysty.)
- You can pay either by card or in cash. (Możesz zapłacić kartą albo gotówką.)
- Neither my boss nor my team knew about it.
Each i every: każdy
Every stoi tuż przed rzeczownikiem w liczbie pojedynczej: every room, every day. Each możesz powiedzieć z of (each of the rooms) albo na końcu zdania.
- Every room has a balcony. (Każdy pokój ma balkon.)
- Each of our kids plays an instrument. (Każde z naszych dzieci gra na jakimś instrumencie.)
- The tickets cost twenty dollars each.
Po angielsku neither i none wystarczą same. W zdaniu z not zamieniasz neither na either.
- Neither of us slept well. (Żadne z nas nie spało dobrze.)
- I didn’t like either of the hotels.
