Must have, can’t have: ćwiczenia z odpowiedziami i karta pracy PDF

Must be, can’t be i must have done przydają się, kiedy zgadujesz: gdzie jest kolega, dlaczego paczka nie doszła, co się stało wczoraj. Should have done dokłada żal i pretensje. Na początek masz krótkie zasady, a pod nimi 52 zadania w sześciu zestawach, od She must be tired po I should have called. Każde sprawdza się od razu, a po dobrej odpowiedzi możesz odsłuchać całe zdanie.

Must have i can’t have w skrócie

Must be: jesteś prawie pewien

Kiedy masz mocne powody, żeby coś zakładać, mówisz must. To nie jest nakaz, tylko wniosek: „na pewno”, „musi”.

  • She must be tired. (Ona musi być zmęczona.)
  • You must be Anna’s brother. (Ty pewnie jesteś bratem Anny.)

Can’t be i might be: na pewno nie albo może

Przeciwieństwem must w zgadywaniu jest can’t, a nie mustn’t. Kiedy nie jesteś pewien, mówisz might, may albo could.

  • That can’t be true. (To nie może być prawda.)
  • He might be in a meeting. (Może jest na spotkaniu.)
  • They could be stuck in traffic. (Może stoją w korku.)

Must have, can’t have, might have + III forma: zgadujesz o przeszłości

Kiedy zgadujesz, co się już stało, dodajesz have i trzecią formę czasownika. Have się nie zmienia, także przy he i she.

  • It must have rained last night. (W nocy musiało padać.)
  • She can’t have seen me. (Nie mogła mnie zobaczyć.)
  • I might have left my keys at work. (Może zostawiłem klucze w pracy.)

Should have + III forma: żal albo pretensja

Should have mówi, że coś było dobrym pomysłem, ale się nie wydarzyło. Shouldn’t have mówi, że coś się wydarzyło, a nie powinno. W mowie słyszysz should’ve, ale nigdy nie piszesz should of.

  • I should have called you. (Powinienem był do Ciebie zadzwonić.)
  • You shouldn’t have said that. (Nie powinieneś był tego mówić.)
